Returns & Exchanges

Because each Veil & Flame piece is crafted with care, my return policy varies depending on the type of item.


Non‑returnable items (for hygiene & safety)
For the safety of all customers, I cannot accept returns on:
•     perfumes
•     body oils
•     room sprays
•     any item with a dropper, sprayer, or applicator
•     custom‑blended oils or fragrances
These items cannot be resold once opened, and most retailers follow the same standard.


Custom candles
Custom candles may be returned if you truly feel the piece isn’t right for you.
Because they are made to order and are difficult to resell, a 15% restocking fee applies to help cover materials and time.


Standard candles
Standard (non‑custom) candles may be returned within 30 days in unused condition.
A 15% restocking fee applies to help cover packaging, handling, and the care required to prepare each piece.


Damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me within 14 days and I’ll make it right. We may ask for photos and ask questions to understand what happened for future prevention. This is in no way to accuse you, but to get an understanding of what we can do better in the future. 
There is no restocking fee for issues caused by studio error. 


Please consider purchasing shipping insurance to protect your order from carrier damage. Once a package leaves my hands, Veil & Flame is not responsible for mishandling or rough treatment during transit, but I will always do my best to assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.
